Message from the Circuit Attorney

You deserve to live, work and play in a safe city that respects the rights of all people. As the Circuit Attorney for St. Louis City, I take my responsibility as a prosecutor and law enforcement leader very seriously.
 

I have assembled a first-rate team of professionals who are committed to our mission of pursuing justice under the laws of the State of Missouri with the highest integrity, openness and transparency.

We work to inspire confidence in the criminal justice system by:

• leveraging our resources to reduce the crime rate in the City of St. Louis
• educating and engaging the community in keeping their neighborhoods safe
• creating respectful and credible partnerships with all constituents
• attracting and retaining the top law professionals in the region
   

In addition to our efforts, we need YOU to be an involved citizen of this community. You are the most powerful crime-fighting tool my office has. When we have victim and witness participation in our prosecutions, our rate of conviction is nearly 100 percent. Even after conviction, when victims share their stories before the court, their involvement makes an important impact on judicial sentencing decisions.
 

While we can’t stop all crimes, by working together we can create a safer, freer community. Together, we are far more powerful than any one of us can be alone.
