Keith Kent has been charged with first-degree assault and other crimes

Language from Probable Cause Statement: "R.S. reported to me that the defendant fired numerous shots from a handgun at a van located in O’Fallon Park, which was occupied by her, her children M. J., who is three-years-old, and Ma. J., who is two-years-old. The van was also occupied by C.B., and C.B.’s daughter A.S., who is four-months old, and by K.S. M.J. was struck by one of the bullets fired by the defendant. The bullet entered his buttock and exited his groin, causing serious physical injury. The van was struck by several more rounds fired by the defendant. Defendant was convicted of the felonies of unlawful possession of a weapon and unlawful use of a weapon on July 12, 2010 in the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis, State of Missouri (1022-CR01409-01)"
