March 05, 2015

It started with an argument and ended with a murder.

Now, Michael Miller has been convicted for his crime.

On December 4, 2012, P.P. and two others headed to Michael Miller’s home in the Carondelet neighborhood. An argument between P.P. and a woman at the house ensued but Michael Miller intervened.

After the argument, P.P. started walking back to his sister’s house. He never made it there.

P.P. was found shot to death on Bates Avenue. Michael Miller was identified as the shooter.

Last week, a St. Louis jury found Miller guilty of first-degree murder and armed criminal action. Assistant Circuit Attorney Don Tyson prosecuted the case.

Miller has an extensive criminal history including a federal conviction for conspiracy and distribution of crack cocaine.

He is scheduled to be sentenced April 17.
