The Victim Services Unit is a fast-paced office seeking an individual with specific experience in bookkeeping/accounting as well as skills in working with the public. The qualified individual for this position must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel software, Acrobat forms/documents, database entry, and have bookkeeping skills utilizing the Quick Books program. Specific tasks include maintaining financial records and accounting tasks, grant billing and expenditure documentation, vendor agreements and contracts, performing multiple tasks at any given time, and providing general office support for operation of the Victim Services Unit.
The Administrative Assistant must reflect a positive and professional approach to all clients calling or visiting Victim Services, and create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Excellent communication skills are required.
