Santonio McCoy has been sentenced to seven years for unlawful possession of a firearm.
On June 23, 2012, two officers responded to a call for shots fired in the Walnut Park West neighborhood. The officers observed Santonio McCoy, who had previously been convicted of seven felonies, in possession of a loaded MAC-11 semi-automatic pistol.
On Dec. 12, 2013, a St. Louis jury found McCoy guilty of unlawful possession of a firearm.
Today, St. Louis Circuit Court Judge Jimmie M. Edwards sentenced McCoy to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
