Steven Michael Brown has been sentenced to 20 years for second-degree murder and armed criminal action.
On Aug. 14, 2011, Steven Michael Brown approached the victim as he was leaving his girlfriend’s house in the Lewis Place neighborhood. The victim’s girlfriend shared the home with her sister, who was the defendant’s girlfriend. Brown, who had a gun, shot the victim multiple times. The victim died from his wounds.
On Feb. 5, Brown pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and armed criminal action. St. Louis Circuit Court Judge Margaret Neill imposed the sentence.
