Verdict: Marshall Burrage has been found guilty of second-degree murder.

Marshall Burrage has been found guilty of second-degree murder, attempt to distribute a controlled substance and armed criminal action.

 

On May 19, 2012, Marshall Burrage and another individual made arrangements to sell three pounds of marijuana to J.D. When Burrage and the other man arrived, J.D. entered the front passenger seat of Burrage’s vehicle and discussed payment for the marijuana. Shots were fired during the course of the attempted distribution and J.D. was killed as a result. 

 

On Jan. 23, Burrage was found guilty of second-degree murder, attempt to distribute a controlled substance and armed criminal action. Sentencing is set in the case for March 6, 2014  in front of St. Louis Circuit Court Judge Margaret M. Neill.
